What to Expect
After waivers.are filled out, the evening will begin with a group belay lesson. Everyone 14 and older will be eligible to belay. The belayer is the person who stays on the ground and handles the ropes so that the climber is safe. The lessonswill end with a safety check. After the safety check, everyone will be free to climb. A staff member will beavailable for questions and to make sure safety procedures are followed closely. The slack-line is available upon request. Feel Free to Make the Gym Yours! (from 8pm to 10pm semi-private, 10pm-8am private) Decorate, bring food, gifts and games or whatever you need to Make your Party a Success!

Pricing
The cost is $30 per participant with a $300 minimum. The Boy Scout Merit Badge Program is $35 per participant with a $350 minimum. Each of these programs include onegroup safety lesson, equipment rental package (harness, shoes, belay device) and climbing time.

Climbers, boulderers, and belayers are participants. Climb Kalamazoo is designed for rock-climbing. So if a non-participating observer would like to come, please bring activities to keep busy and bring warm clothing.
